NERV

A golf ball teeing device with a 20-yard marker, set against a red brick wall.

Slant-neck elongated mallet

Building from previous models and prototypes such as VW, ARYA and KOREA, nearly 50g of material has been removed behind the face, evenly distributing weight throughout the putter and significantly increased stability in lag putts.

The internal cavity as a result resembles the iconic PING 1-A, and also offers a distinct and unique sound at impact while providing tactile yet soft feedback.

Design inspired by H.R. Geiger, Yves Tanguy and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

KOREA

A golf club head placed on a piece of wood with some small white dried flowers and branches around it, against a dark red and black background.

A 1/1 prototype testing our shaft-over-hosel zero torque design.

Design is inspired by Paldal Gate built during the Chosun Dynasty, late 18th century. The gate was constructed using brand-new technologies at the time, including a pulley-based crane.

The width of the main gate is slightly wider than a golf ball. The hollowed out "walkway" and supporting gate act as alignment aids.

The nature-based colors used to paint the wood and ceiling joinery, as well as some patterns, were adapted for the headcover.

We tested the limits of weight distribution in this putter, and was able to bring the total weight down to 330g (a classic Ping Blade) while surpassing the MOI of an Odyssey 2-Ball.

FOURTH OF JULY

For Fourth of July we designed our first multi-material prototype, advancing perimeter weighting by utilizing 3201 PA-F Nylon for larger components.

Thirteen columns connect the nylon top plate with the stainless steel face and chassis. A decorative medal, suspended at the bottom of the putter, acts as the hosel entrance for the shaft.

The Fourth of July Prototype will be advanced in the future, blending data-driven computational design to design abstract, nonlinear forms while using the nylon material as a shell to offer a traditional, confidence-inspiring look at address.

SIGNATURE CLASSIC

A zero-torque blade concept prototype using the same methodology from ARYA.
This classic blade shape incorporates some deep cavities near the base of the face to provide a more clear feel at contact.

Loft is increased to mitigate onset which is not a lot in this case.

The extruded hexagonal hosel is minimal and lies in parallel with the dot alignment aid for easy setup.

EDIZIONE SPECIALE

Designed from the curvature and design signatures from the Testarossa, this prototype is a face-balanced mallet with a diamond resin face finished using auto body paint and clear coat.

The engine block of the Testarossa, an iconic flat-12, is modeled and directly incorporated in the putter and doubles as a ball retrieval tool. Paired with a triple bend, this prototype was modeled not far after the inception of the Dynamo model, which uses the same type of shaft.
